For the final issue of 2020, Kristen opted for a bit of a comic relief—enter comedian Heather Mahan, a self-proclaimed “COVID Bride” who was forced to postpone her 2020 nuptials in Italy. The comedian hilariously recounted her experience as The Knot’s cover star providing some much-needed levity and relatability.

Given the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kristen conducted the interview with Heather over Google Hangouts, and the entire photo shoot was done at Heather’s Atlanta home with minimal crew and creative direction being handled remotely.
